If you have an eye for color, texture and lighting, and a knack for arranging spaces, why not try your hand at interior design? Functionality meets beauty in this one-of-a-kind track—with the help of industry-standard equipment and software, you will create the technical layout and design of a wide variety of spaces, from homes to offices to businesses and more. This fast-paced track features hands-on, experiential learning and provides an exclusive chance to work with professionals in the interior design field.

    Day 1: Elements of Design

    i. Create your dream dorm room or condo!

    ii. Learn CAD and Sketch Up software to complete your design

    Day 2: Flea Market Finds

    i. Field Trip to flea markets

    ii. Seek out a piece of furniture or various finds that a piece of furniture can be made from.

  • June 14

    DAY 3: Trash to Treasure

    i. Design furniture from your field trip finds

    ii. Continue designing your dream room or condo

    Day 4: Live the Interior Designer’s Life

    i. Immerse yourself in our Residential and Commercial Resource room to create your own design board with actual product samples!

    ii. Finish up your furniture design

    Day 5: The Reveal

    Your family and friends are invited to this special showcase event to see what you have learned, designed and created at The Studio! This is your chance to share your original designs and models and celebrate your success.
